Zex HO S197 Nitrous

Comp Cams
As usual, Comp [www.compacams.com] and its related companies offered a collection of new gear for Fords. Comp itself offered up High Load Beehive valve springs for Two- and Three-Valve 4.6s. FAST showed of a new XFI box with built-in Intelligent Traction Control. Meanwhile Zex displayed a new high-output nitrous system for S197 GTs, which is good for an extra 100-250 horsepower. SEMA also bestowed one of its awards on TCI’s [www.tciauto.com] new StreetFighter console shifter unit for ’05-’08 Mustang GTs. The stylish shifter, which uses the OEM cable and bolts directly into the stock console, allows drivers to speed shift an S197’s 5R55S tranny with confidence, thanks to its ratchet-style, positive-stop action.
