If you follow the NMRA Ford Drag Racing Series, you know the Sutton High Performance-sponsored, modular-powered Renegade racer tore up the record books last season. This year the car gets a new driver. Check out the full press release after the jump...

Aaron Stapleton has decided to run NMCA Extreme street for the 2008 season. In light of this fact and after long hours of debate it was decided it would be very difficult to compete at the highest level in both series full time. Aaron has decided to run a full schedule in NMCA Extreme Street for the 2008 season. This left Team Sutton with a very difficult task of finding a qualified driver for one of the fastest EFI Renegade cars in history .

Team Sutton Is proud to announce Titanium Bob Cook as the new driver for the 2008 NMRA season. As all of you know Bob is one of the most feared and competitive drivers in all of the NMRA. This makes Bob a perfect fit for Team Sutton. We look forward to the 2008 season and look back with fond memories of record breaking 2006 & 2007 seasons. Sutton High Performance and Fast Forward Race Cars will still enjoy a close professional and personal relationship.

All the members at Team Sutton would like to wish Good Luck to both Bob Cook and Aaron Stapleton in the 2008 season and beyond.
