Boss 340 Performance: What's Your Best Guess?

Not that we're surprised or anything, but, we have received quite a few e-mails from many of you who are following our Boss 340 engine project, and apparently there's quite a bit of anticipation (beyond our own) about how Version 1.0 of the engine (Edelbrock Performer 351C heads and Comp hydraulic-roller camshaft) will peform in its tell-all dyno test. Well, now that our KOOKS headers for the engine are all finished (and they're incredible, by the way), we'll soon find out!

I've been at this blog deal for a few weeks now, and maybe you're seeing my pattern. My fresh blog entries hit our Web site bright-and-early every Monday morning. And, while I'll give you what I think is pertinent information about whatever I wish to muse about here, I won't spill any juicy beans about a test, part, or event (that we cover) here before they actually appear in the magazine.

With that said, I'm sharing this quick look at the completed "Version 1.0" of our Boss with you. And, if you've really been following along, I invite you to post your horsepower and torque forecasts for this radical, Wilson (intake and throttle body)/ACEL (DFI) fuel-injected engine, right here.
