To celebrate 15 years of SVT Cobras, the SVT Cobra Mustang Club held an open-track outing dubbed "The SVT Cobra 15th Anniversary Celebration & SVT Cobra/Shelby GT500 Nationals" at Virginia International Raceway over the May 20-June 1 weekend.

Jay Tucker, the main man at JLT Performance, took his Alloy/Silver Stripe GT500 out to the event to get his first taste of the road course. Naturally Jay's Alloy beauty is equipped with one of his ultra-cool carbon-fiber cold-air intakes, and you can see more of productshere.

"I trailered in an ’08 GT500 and trailered out a well-worn, brake-grinding, steering-wheel-shaking, spongy-brake-pedaled and bug-covered GT500," Jay said. "It's nothing rotors, pads, and a bath didn't fix. Back to new."

Of course Jay can't wait to hit the road course again, which is what happens to most Mustangers who give the road course a shot.
