You may recall I introduced you to my buddy, Erick Valdez in a Blog I posted a few months ago. Erick is the guy who created the custom logo badges for our project T-top coupe. While Erick's also a hard-core 'Stangbanger, his Mustang passion isn't for 5.0 and 4.6-powered LXs or GTs. Erick really digs V-6 'Stangs, and tipped us to a gathering that's being held next month in Los Angeles, that we're sure other 6-banger loyalists won't want to miss.
V6Mustangmeets.com will be holding its sixth-annual 'Stangfest--a gathering of Mustang enthusiasts and 'Stangs--this July 19th at Elysian Park, located at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. "The meet welcomes people who share the same love for Mustangs and the Mustang community," Erick says. One of the gathering's cooler aspects is, despite its V-6 roots, a Mustang's engine type and size, and the year of the Pony doesn't matter a lick. All 'Stangs and 'Strangbangers are welcome. For additional information (including more history of the event, photos, sponsors, etc) and directions to Elysian Park, dial up http://www.V6Mustangmeet.com, or contact Erick through his Web site: www.autobadges.com.
