As KJ mentions in the Blog below every one of us has sold a car, only to want it back at some point. Whether it’s a first car, or just one of the many Mustangs most of us goes through during a lifetime. Invariably, one gets away. My very first car was a 1980 Triumph Spitfire, and it’s not like I want another one for nostalgic reasons, but when I see one (rarely) fond memories come rushing back. If there’s a car you’d like to locate there’s one site that just might help get it back. Check it out after the jump…

The Lost Car Registry (www.lost-car-registry.com) allows you to post vehicle information to help you locate a car from your past. When we checked it out we didn’t see too many late-model Mustangs listed, but there were a ton of early models being sought.

You can also list a car you now own to find more information on the car from past owners. This function comes in handy for possible original drivetrain locations, past modifications, and what kind of life the car led previous to your current ownership. Even if you have nothing to list, the site is an interesting read. Check it out.
