On these tires and in these incredibly hot temperatures you have to get your fast lap in within the first two laps for sure. On my first lap a competitor comes out of the pits late and in front of me and blocks my run. He should have moved over on his out lap. Then it gets worse....The next lap the same thing happens with another competitor except he was on his first full lap so he did nothing wrong. It was just really bad luck. So I parked the car, hung out to let tires cool but engine never really does you know. I go back out to turn the best I can and all it gets me is 9th. Add to this the fact that the car still pushes, you can't get the power down and you have your hands full. Trust me I am not the only one crying the blues. The car is not the problem, it is the conditions that we need to tune for that are so hard and I just don't have it tuned right yet.
On the front of my car it says in reverse type: ?gnimoC eM raeH uoY naC I don't give up easy and being second in points I just need to finish ahead of Pratt Cole who is starting 5th. That is a realistic goal but my true goal is to make the podium when 45 minutes is up.
