This is one of those times where it pays to keep an eye on the 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords Web site, and blogs posted by me, Big Steve and Associate Editor Mike Johnson. Find out "why" after the jump...
Surprise! Veterans readers of my blog reports know that every once in a while I'll use this medium to post a preview photo and a little info of a project or product that will be appearing in the magazine at some point soon.
The engine-build/dyno-test segment of Project Boss 340 has been completed and reported about in several issues of the book (remember some of the sneak-peek blog reports on that stuff?), and now it's time to move forward with building the car...a 1990 Mustang LX hatchback...that will also bear the Boss 340 name.
Here's a couple'a few photos of the project that lays ahead. Yes, this project 'Stang came to me in a thousand times "rougher" condition than Project T-top Coupe was when I brought it home (Big Steve will probably look at the photos and and say to himself, "KJ has lost his mind!"), but I have a vision. The car definitely has potential, and trust me, Boss 340 will be an awesome drag-race Mustang when it's done.
Standby for a detailed introduction story on the next stage the project (building the car), which will appear in an upcoming issue of 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords. And, make sure you keep checking out this blog section of the Web site, 'cause you never know when you might see a photo...or a video clip of Project Boss 340, long before it hits the pages of the mag!
