Meguiar’s Headlight Restoration Kit Cleans Cloudy Mustang Headlights

We've all seen 'em...Mustangs (especially Fox bodies) that haven't been in the best condition (appearance wise...Some 'Stangs surprisingly are in great running condition, but look like sin) for several years. Along with the dents, scratches and fading paint, one area that undoubtetdly has issues are the plastic headlight lenses, which usually have a cloudy, yellow glaze on them, which is the result of years of oxidation. The haze and scratches definitely make it hard for you to see where you're going, and it also makes it difficult for other drivers to see you, too.

We know how to fix this problem. Find out about it after the jump...

Meguiar's One-Step Headlight Restoration Kit

We've talked about Meguiar’s car-care appearance products in the past. As a matter of fact, my article on Mustang detailing, "Attention to Detail," is posted here on our Web site and is worth checking out if you haven't yet seen it, and want to see great tips on maintaining your car's cleanliness.

Meguiar's offers an easy-to-use "One-Step Headlight Restoration Kit (that's its official name)" that lets you get the glaze off your Pony's headlight lenses, without having to sand like a mad man or use abrasives that can damage paint or other parts of your Pony.

The kit will only set you back $25, and it includes Meguiar’s PlastX clear-plastic polish, a microfiber towel, and the company's propriety buffing pad.

Meguiar’s One-Step Headlight Restoration Kit is available in Checker Auto Parts, Schuck’s Auto Supply and Kragen Auto Parts, as well as on the Web through www.meguiarsdirect.com
