With the unfortunate news of American Autosports, the force behind the Fun Ford Weekend and later Battle of the Brands, UPR Products (www.uprproducts.com) decided to come to the rescue and sponsor a pair of events held on the dates familiar to those that attended FFW events in years past.

First up is the 1st Annual Fords at the Summit held July 24-26 at Norwalk Raceway (www.norwalkraceway.com) in Norwalk, Ohio. This event is catering to fans of classic Fords, bracket racing, car shows, and swap meets all for an amazingly affordable $8 entry fee. For that bargain price won’t want to miss the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the Thunderbolt within the event, featuring the first and last T-bolts built!

In August, all the Ford fans in New England should stop by and thank the UPR guys personally for stepping up to sponsor the first annual UPR All Ford held on August 15-16 at New England Dragway (www.newenglanddragway.com) in Epping, New Hampshire. This Ford-only event promises all trimmings you are familiar with, including an all-Ford format, giant car show, brackets and heads-up classes and a True Street. Better yet, our own Mike “The Splitter” Johnson will be there to take pictures and document the event!
