AKRON, OHIO—Trick Flow Specialties has officially welcomed Jason Lee as the first member of the Trick Flow 7-Second Club, an exclusive club open to the first seven NMRA Drag Radial racers to run a 7.99 ET or quicker at an NMRA event using Trick Flow cylinder heads.
Lee raced into the Trick Flow 7-Second Club with a 7.974-second pass in the NMRA Drag Radial class on March 8, 2009 during the Nitto Tire NMRA Spring Break Shootout at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida. Trick Flow gave the Maumee, Ohio resident a special 7-Second Club prize package: $1,000 Trick Flow gift certificiate, three custom Trick Flow crew shirts with the 7-Second Club logo, two Trick Flow fender covers, two Trick Flow tire covers, three Trick Flow hats, two Trick Flow banners, and four 7-Second Club decals.

Lee’s 1986 Mustang features a potent 360 cubic inch small block, which is powered by a set of ported Trick Flow High Port Cylinder Heads, Big Stuff 3 Fuel Injection System, and Procharger supercharger. A TCI Powerglide transmission, custom nine-inch rear-end, and 40-spline axles transfer power to the rear wheels. A JR Racecraft rear suspension and BFGoodrich Drag Radial tires keep the car glued to the track.
