If you stepped up your wheel size and the rear brakes are looking puny, MGP has a dress-up solution for you. Peep the press release after the jump...

San Diego, CA (September 2009)-  MGP Caliper Covers has launched new Ford licensed products for the Shelby Mustang GT and GT500.  The covers will have the official Mustang lettering behind the front wheels and the famous bar and pony in the rear wheels.  An optional Cobra Snake logo will be provided in a full set or a pair for the rear wheels only.

A rear set of caliper covers is an ideal solution to cover up the stock rear brakes for the Shelby GT500, balancing out the look of the vehicle with the black big brakes in the front.  The popularity of larger wheel sizes and open styles have exposed the braking systems on vehicles. Customer Steve Peters in San Diego said “The caliper covers really clean up the look of the wheel; I’m always getting questions about them.”   Peters’ 2007 Shelby GT500 was on display in the featured car area at last year’s SEMA show with his custom engraved covers matching his license plate “VNMOUSS”.

MGP Caliper Covers have been created by San Diego’s Mike Barland.  Barland has been in manufacturing for 26 years. Mike spent four year before the launch of MGP developing the custom fit design and patented fastening system of the caliper covers.  The caliper covers include:

*       Easy Installation
*       Patented Fastening System
*       No tape, glue or special tools required
*       6061 Aerospace Aluminum
*       Powder Coated Finish
*       Reduces Brake Dust
