Well, today's the BIG DAY! The Castrol Syntec Top Car Challenge (a performance/endurance event to determine who has the best all-around "street car") gets started today, with dyno (horsepower/torque) and smog testing (5-gas engine analyzer) out at K&N Air Filters, in Riverside, California.
Ron Cooper and his 1994 supercharged Cobra 'Stang are ready to do-the-do against competitors representing six other Source Interlink Media enthusiast mags. If you're not up to speed with all that's happened thus far, take a look at past blogs or hop across the jump and click on the link to the Castrol Syntec Top Car Challenge Web Site...
I've been out here in "The 909" for a while now. On Monday, I worked on a pretty cool product installation at GTR High Performance in Rancho Cucamonga, which you'll read about in an upcoming Tech Inspection article in the magazine, and see it in action here online, once a short video clip that I shot has been posted on our Web site!
Right now, it's time for me to get on over to the dyno and see how much "big steam" is being made!
