This 2000 Mustang GT sits on the Dynojet chassis dyno at GTR High Performance in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Oh, so you want to know, "why?"
OK, get on across the jump and I'll tell you...
Well, think about it for a second. Why would any Mustang GT that I'm talking about be sitting on a chassis dyno at any shop I visit? If you said, "it's awaiting another power evaluation," you're absolutely right.
I'm currently on assignment at GTR, where thus far we've taken Mike Glasser's stock Mustang GT (4.6-Liter Two Valve) and measured the performace gains brought by the addition of several basic bolt-on engine upgrades from Trick Flow Specialties.
The project doesn't stop at bolt-ons. Today (Wednesday, Sept 30th, 2009, for those who see this months from now) we're removing the engine and installing Trick Flow's all-new 4.6L/2V cylinder heads and camshafts, and a complete long-tube-headers exhaust system from BBK.
This package should make some pretty big steam when it's done.
I'll let you know in our February '10 issue. Make sure you get it.
