Is There ANY Difference Between These 2 Three-Valve Engines?

Take a good, hard look at the lead photo in this blog. We'll call it, "Photo A."

Got it? Is a good, mental image now stamped into your memory? If it is, now do the same thing with the "Photo B" image, which you'll see right after you go across the jump...


OK, you've looked at both photos, so

2006 4.6L 3V Engine...Photo B

now it's quiz time. Were you immediately, I mean, instantly able to spot the difference between the two bullets? Be honest with me.

For those of you who doubt there are differences, trust me, there definitely is one...and it's fairly significant.

I'm gonna let your minds work on this one. Drop your best guess...or confident, expert deduction in the "Comments" section for this blog (Sorry, Big Steve, you can't play).

The answer should be in the January, 2010, issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords, in a story that I think you S197 owners are really gonna dig.
