Our friends over at Paul's High Performance are representing for drag-racing fans at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas. The show opens tomorrow, but today you can check out the official press release after the jump...
This year Paul’s High Performance has built a 2010 Mustang GT for the 2009 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show to be displayed in Ford’s booth (#22200) in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The PHP GT, nicknamed, “E.T. Grabber”, is unmistakably built for the π-mile with low ET’s in mind.
It is powered by a Ford 4.6 liter, Three-Valve, OHC V-8 engine with a five-speed manual transmission. Partnered with a Dynomax 3-inch exhaust, Moser 9-inch rearend with 4.56 gears, and Aerospace Components front and rear light-weight drag brakes along with several Ford Racing powertrain and chassis suspension components, all PHP tuned with SCT’s Touch Screen Xtreme bluetooth wireless flash device for maximum drag-strip performance.
The exterior sports a Cervini’s 4-inch cowl hood and front valance, and rear wing from Skinny Kid Race Cars, painted in the traditional Ford Grabber Blue by Sloan Collision of Jackson, Michigan. All this riding on custom Weld Racing 15x3.5 Torq-Thrust Pro front rims and 15x10 Torq-Thrust Pro rear rims on Moroso DS2 front tires and Mickey Thompson ET-Drag rear slicks. The interior custom fitted with a Team-Z Motorsports 10-point roll cage.
Following in the Paul’s High Performance tradition, this naturally aspirated GT screams “Record Breaker” while showing off Ford’s impressive new body styling that keeps Mustang in front of the competition.
