I recently received an announcement of a cool, and long-awaited product from my friends at Air Flow Dynamics; the Australia-based, cylinder-head company that I worked with on the Boss 340 engine project.
If you've followed my stories on our 600 (crankshaft) horsepower, Cleveland-headed small block Ford, you already know about AFD and its lineup of killer aluminum 351C-style castings.
Every set of heads needs a good intake manifold to feed it air and fuel, and AFD now offers one for enthusiasts who want to build canted-valve Windsor engines (9.2-, or 9.5-deck 351Ws with Cleveland-style heads).
You're looking at a CAD image of AFD's new Cleveland Intake Manifold.
We don't have very much data on this piece right now, but a request has been made for us to hopefully have an opportunity to work with the new manifold and detail its virtues, on another "Boss"/Clevor-style engine project that will be coming down the pike in 2010.
If you're interested in building a Boss engine that's similar to ours, or a Clevor with bigger cubes, check out AFD's Web site at www.airflowdynamics.com.au.
