Today's blog is for shop owners, 'Stang customizers and designers and other enthusiasts who who have attended the SEMA show in Las Vegas (and also for those who haven't been to SEMA but want to attend the annual, end-of-year gathering at some point), and wondered what you need to do/who you need to know in order to build a Pony that will be on display for the world to see at SEMA!

Actually "getting," as-in, "being GIVEN" a Mustang for SEMA ain't easy, but, it's not all-that difficult, either.

The crux of the big news is that Ford Motor Company is currently accepting proposals for its annual project-vehicle program.

So, there's really no better time than the present for all you automotive Rembrandts to create a design, build-up, and marketing plan for a project Pony--and we're talkin', the all-new, 2011 5.0 GT!

The criteria for eligibility are similar to past Ford project-vehicle programs: companies requesting project vehicles should be a manufacturer or designer/restyler; a current SEMA member; and committed to a thorough marketing plan that includes the 2010 SEMA Show.
