There were quite a few Mustangs on display at the PRI show. I gave you all a look at Tim Matherly's new 2010 NMRA Real Street car in an early blog post, and many of you agree Tim's car is completely and totally bad-ass.
Another '10 Mustang that deserves equal props is the absolutely flawless Pro Stock 'Stang that belongs to Cale Aronson.
Hop across the jump and find out why...
Cale Aronson certainly isn't a newcomer to racing fast Mustangs. While he may not be familiar to those of you who follow just the NMRA, the dude has competed in the former Fun Ford Weekend series (in its all-motor categories), and since then has been a regular on the IHRA circuit; competing in the Mountain-Motor Pro Stock category.
I ran into Cale and his wife, Tinzy, as they were putting a final detail on their brand-new, Jerry Haas-built 2010 Pro Stock Mustang GT, in one of the corridors at PRI where vehicles were being displayed.
Here are a few shots for you. As the Aronsons were sort of under the gun for having the car ready to show for the week, I didn't ask Cale to remove the front clip for an up-close look a the 825 cubic-inch, naturally aspirated Jon Kaase madness that sits between the frame tubes, but based on the 'Stang's appearance alone, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a force to be reckoned with next season.
Man, I can't wait for March to get here!
