Just following up on Mike's blog about the recent sad events involving our friends from House of Boost.
First, God Speed, to Tommy Lodigensky. My sincere condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
We also need members of the entire Mustang Nation to keep Dorian Comeau in their thoughts, as he fights, literally for his life, after sustaining multiple injuries in the dune-buggy accident that killed his friend.
It's a shame that it happened and I'm truly saddened. In addition to keeping Tommy and Dorian in your hearts and mind, I have one other request of all of you...
Please keep your mind on safety, first and foremost, whenever you're in your Mustangs, on motorcycles or whatever mechanical beast it is that you're operating (wear your belts, helmets, etc).
Something that hits home so hard is that neither Dorian or Tommy were wearing the safety harnesses that were in the dune buggy. This isn't speculation or hearsay, unfortunately it's true. As they were tossed out of the vehicle after impact with a low retaining wall, there's a strong possibility they both may have come out of the accident hurt, probably, but alive nonetheless.
I appreciate your time and patience for listening. Not to sound like a broken record or anything, but, please be safe out there. As this accident and others like it prove, something that may seem simple and harmless (and even somthing you're actually "being careful" doing), unfortunately can turn deadly before you know it.
