Top Car Points Are Now Being Tallied

Another Castrol Syntec Top Car Challenge is in the books!

Once again, we had a great time at the 3-day test of automotive performance and endurance (for cars and drivers), and now we're waiting to find out which entry won the overall title of being the "Top Car."

Carlos Cortez's Shelby GT500 was awesome throughout the event, and I believe Team 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords is among the top finishers.

After taking a ride (with a pro driver) around Buttonwillow Raceway, the huge smile on Carlos' face says it all..."WOW! My car is REALLY fast!"

Carlos Cortez's 2007 Shelby GT500 performed flawlessly in all categories of The 'Challenge. This definitely is an awesome car.

Keep checking the magazine for additional articles on the Shelby, as well as Tom Wilson's diary the 'Challenge. Also, please cast your online "Peoples' Choice" vote for our Mustang at www.syntectopcarchallenge.com.

The way I see it, regardless of how the scoring turns out, our overall performance in the 2010 Castrol Syntec Top Car Challenge was outstanding!

2. We're hoping we finish well, too, Nick. There were six cars entered in this year's Top Car Challenge. This was the second year for the Top Car Challenge...the event that is the precursor for TCC is the Top SHOP Challenge. We did not participate in that event.

3. hey KJ you do know this is Nick with the grey 03 GT i've entered my car both times plus met you at knotts berry where you took pics of my car. just was wondering if your gonna post those pics in the mag plus if you need all my info on my car its in the reader rides i forgot to update my info sheet when you took the pics ok thanks again KJ talk to ya later...Nick
