OK, now that you're here, I'm just gonna tell you up-front that this blog is a straight-up TEASER!

Those of you who have been paying attention are aware that we're making some cosmetic changes on the '02, and a brand-new hood is one of the highlights of those changes (check out my "Baked Goodness" post from a few days ago).

I believe the car will be ready for pickup from Ford Auto Body of Van Nuys, California (www.fordautobody.com), today. Of course, you won't see photos of the finished project here until my tech article appears in our August '11 issue.

However, here's a bit of a preview shot for you to think about. That hood pin is clear as day. It comes from AmericanMuscle.com, and Tech Inspection of that same August issue covers the basics on how we put a pair of pins in our project-'Stang's new hood.
