Lenexa, KS – November 2011 – Aeromotive is proud to announce the recent addition of legendary racer and engine builder, Chuck Samuel to the Aeromotive family. “Chuck and I have been friends for a long time,” said Steve Matusek, Aeromotive Founder and President. “He’s been a great resource and a wealth of knowledge for us over the years, but we feel that we have a package with this new car that can be extremely competitive and possibly do some things that will get everyone’s attention. Seeing the potential here with this car, we need someone like to Chuck to come in here, take the reigns and make this as competitive as we believe it is.”
Chuck Samuel brings with him a rich racing history going back to the early 80’s. In the late 90’s he found his way into the record books with the first 10” tire car to break into the 6’s. From here Chuck went on to build several cars including a ‘01 small block turbo Mustang and the most well known big block nitrous Escort that propelled him to back to back Fun Ford Championships in 2004 and 2005.
“We are extremely proud to bring Chuck on and we are really looking forward to working together for the upcoming season,” added Matusek. Chuck has already begun work on the Pro Mod and will make his debut with the car at the start of the 2012 season. Look for the RoushYates powered turbo Mustang at multiple events next season, including NHRA Pro Mod, NMCA, ADRL and PSCA events.
