Slug Guess

This Is What a (Blank's) Piston Looks Like

All I've got today are these two photos today. Nothing more, nothing less. Pictures of  a piston.

What makes this particular slug interesting?

That's something I want you to tell me...

Even though the Mahle piston you're looking at actually has a part number/identifier stamped into it, I don't think there are many of you who will be able to tell me what engine this unique (for now, at least) piston is for.

OK, "duh," yes, it's for a Mustang's engine. That's the easy guess.

Why don't you guys give properly identifying this piston a try? Yes, I really do know what it's for. Go ahead and Google the product number or do whatever you think will get you the correct answer, then post it here or on the magazine's Facebook page as a comment.

It will be interesting to see who gives us the correct answer, which I haven't said is "impossible to figure out," or anything like that.

Good luck!
