It's getting close to King Of the Street time. The competition will be held as part of the NMRA's World Finals at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, KY September 29th-October 2nd. Just in the last few days we received good news on two different fronts relating to the King of the Street competition. Check them out after the jump...

First of all, AmericanMuscle recently signed up to continue its sponsorship through next year's competition. AmericanMuscle carries many of the components found on King of the Street cars so it was natural for the company to step up and be a huge part of the competition. We're glad to hear the company will be with us through the 2012 competition. That's great news.

In other great King of the Street news, Holley Performance Products in Bowling Green has once again agreed to let us torture their in-house Dynojet again this year. We held the very first dyno competition at Holley, but last year was the first time we went back to Holley, and we couldn't have been happier with the way the day went. Therefore, we asked about using the facilities again this year, and evidently, they'll let anyone in that place because they're having us back.
