If you live in the Northeast, you won't want to miss the AmericanMuscle.com car show in August. It benefits a great cause, and you might even see Michael Johnson there. Peep the official press release after the jump...
MALVERN, Pa – This year’s AmericanMuscle.com Mustang show is set to bring in nearly 1,000 Mustangs and over 3,000 spectators out to Delaware County Community College’s Media, PA campus to take in the biggest Mustang event in the Tri-State Area. The event is scheduled for August 12th, 2012 with a rain date of August 19th.
This year, we’re looking to shatter attendance records and gather some of the hottest, loudest and baddest Mustangs in the country to show off their Mustangs and support a great cause.
This year’s show benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, an organization making great strides to finding the cure for Cystic Fibrosis, a fatal lung disease. Cystic Fibrosis affects about 30,000 children and adults in the United States alone. With CFF funding, new drug technology treating the root cause of the disease has been approved by the FDA. For more information, visit www.cff.org.
“Last year’s show exceeded our expectations – it’s great to see so many Mustang enthusiasts get together to support such an important cause. This year, we’re going even bigger!” said Andrew Voudouris, AmericanMuscle.com’s vice president of marketing.
But it’s not just about the charity… we’ve got two dynos schedule to let Mustangs battle out their horsepower numbers all day long, and over $20,000.00 in prizes to be taken home by some very lucky Mustang owners! Expect fun contests and of course, the gorgeous AM Girls in attendance (stay tuned for a few of them in our 2013 American Muscle calendar). Add to that top-shelf sponsors (like Pypes Performance Exhaust, SilverHorse Racing, Airaid Filters, Exedy Clutches, SCT Flash, Magnaflow Exhaust, MGP Caliper Covers, Mishimoto, Accel, Mr. Gasket, Lakewood, Mallory), great food, good music and you have a day made for Mustang enthusiasts!
