Pep Boys is doing its best to bring performance back to the auto parts industry by putting Speed Shops in select stores. Just down the street from our Tampa, FL location, Pep Boys just opened another Speed Shop in it's Brandon, FL store. WHAT:
Pep Boys’ newest Speed Shop, located within the Pep Boys Supercenter on W. Brandon Blvd. in Brandon, Fla., will host a grand opening celebration on Saturday, May 19, from 10:00AM – 4:00PM.
As only the third such store in all of Florida, this event will help introduce Pep Boys’ specialty store-within-a-store to the local performance automotive enthusiast community and reintroduce the Pep Boys brand to the Tampa market. As part of the special weekend Pep Boys is hosting a large car show where modified and collectible vehicles are expected.
Guests will also have the chance to stretch their car’s legs during Pep Boys “dyno challenge” in which the first and second most powerful cars in specific classes will be awarded $50 and $100 gift cards during the day’s festivities.
Other attractions to the day-long event include photo opportunities with the Pep Boys mascots – Manny, Moe & Jack – special giveaways and other sales promotions that are exclusive to the grand opening.
THE EVENT WILL FEATURE:
• Appearances by Pep Boys’ beloved mascots, Manny, Moe & Jack
• An on-site car show featuring modified and collectible cars and trucks
• A horsepower shoot-out dyno challenge – with prizes given to the most powerful four, six and eight cylinder vehicles
• Music, entertainment, food and giveaways
