Southeastern Fox Bodies saves a Fox Mustang for charity

The Southeastern Fox Bodies club is saving a 1989 Fox hatch from a life of decay and Fox Rodding it into a lust-worthy project ’Stang. The resulting car will be raffled off at the 2013 Mustang Week Cruise In. For more on the project, check out the official info and linkage after the jump…

Project Vehicle: 1989 Hatch, 4cyl 5spd...runs and drives(donated by Sam)

Type of Giveaway: 50/50 Raffle with half going to charity and half to the club

Drawing date: Mustang Week 2013 - Saturday Cruise-in at Colonial Mall

Initial Build Theme: Take a Fox destined for the scrapper and perform a complete restoration with a 5.0 based motor, manual drive, built with donated parts(new and used) that the new owner can drive daily and enjoy at car shows or the occasional track day. Think "Overhaulin", but with over a year to build!

The direction of the build will really be dictated by the donated parts and services we receive, so certain decisions will be made for us while others things we have a choice on, ie paint color. For those we'll have polls in this thread where the club decides which direction to go.

2. Thanks for the help in getting the word out on SAF! This project is going to turn out great and help a wonderful cause! Like 91svtcoupe said above 90% of the proceeds go to charity. 351W, 5 speed, deep impact blue, chrome ponys, and the list goes on and on...brand new car from the ground up..you will get a lot of car if your the winner of this prize!
