This new patented air intake features an aerodynamically designed bulb with an internal cryogenic chamber mounted in a short modular air tube. This uniquely designed air intake kit harnesses the extreme cooling properties of liquid CO2 to reduce air intake temperature up to 50°F. By greatly lowering the intake charge temperature, any street or race vehicle will maximize available horsepower for improved performance.
Sold with complete hardware – silicone coupler, hose clamps, vent cap and braided line, this CryO2 Air Intake can be combined with multiple units for improved results. DEI’s CryO2 Air Intake works with any naturally aspirated, turbocharged, or supercharged application and can easily be added to any existing nitrous oxide or CryO2 system. A full line of air intakes are available from DEI in various sizes from 2.5” to 4.5” O.D. The 4.5” O.D. is ideal for high power N/A and diesel applications.
